A Groundwater Assessment Report is required as part of a Southern Rural Water bore application licence. Typically a hydrogeological assessment involves pumping tests. A study was undertaken and a report prepared including Conceptual Hydrogeology, Interpretation of Aquifer Properties, Predicted Drawdown, Bore Interference Assessment and Environmental Risk Assessment, all without a pumping test! The bore application was approved.
